so you just screw it into you pillar?

yeah, but use a sturdy spacer (i used a metal sleeve with a plastic bushing inside) so that it is even with the a-pillar panel, other wise when you tighten the handle it will break the trim piece. i also used 3/8 hex head metal screws to attach it so that it isnt going to pull off easily. so far they work great (3-4 months use so far) and i havent had any one complain about their placement when getting in the truck.
