The place we are moving to in a week, our assigned parking spot was originally painted out for a handicap equipped van so it'd wide enough for the Ranger and the s-10 to be in at the same time. When the wife told me that all I heard was "Room for a 3rd car".

I would guess it is a 2.9 seeing as how it is an 87. Assuming of course no one messed with it.
