LOL!!!! that would be sweet! haha, may need a bit off moding to the max though to take that under the hood lol! or i couldve bought dads freight shaker! lol, that wouldve been a nice play toy haha

I've rebuilt one of those 3406's, good motors, although its a titch too big for a RBV ;missingteeth;, and their clutch is a PITA!

Can you imagine sending 1400 ft lbs to a dana 28? lol :3gears:

That guy aint a salesmen. "For just a few hundred bucks you can make 700lbs. of torque and still get 35MPG!" Yeah... sure ya can.

I don't know why everyone still wants a diesel with fuel prices the way they are now. I used to think they were cool too, but the price of diesel fuel has now completely turned me off and I'm now really glad I don't own a diesel powered vehicle.

diesels are easier on fuel than cars are on gas, thats all i know about deisel

Well you have to think about it, the 4bt is getting 20+mpg in those trucks, while a gas engine in one of the vehicles posted in this thread wouldn't get anywhere near that, nor would it have the power.

I think its worth it.
