Hit a Deer in the Jeep

How did 1 deer take out both trucks? If were that big did you at least dress the deer and fill the the freezer?

Smokes:

You do realize that you can make a comp claim on the insurance and have it fixed on their dime, don't you? That's what Comprehensive coverage is all about, and animal strikes are covered. Just need to pay your deductible (if any) and away you go.

Unless he's cheap like me and realized comp insurance costs more than his ride was worth :icon_thumby:

Sorry to hear about your Jeep, but like you said, at least you still have your BII!

Maybe this is a sign from God that you're not supposed to own Jeeps?

i only have the MN minimum Liability on it at the moment, i dont know offhand what my deductible would be but im sure its too late and prolly not legal to switch to comp after the hit right?

I also doubt that it's legal. However, some agents will back date a change request. Not that I've ever done it, but I've had it offered to me.
