I have a 88 ranger with a 2.9l and the a4ld. It also has 31s a 3 inch body lift and 4.10 gears in the back. I was wondering could it drive on the interstate at 70? I had it on there one time and i couldnt get it to go into od at 70 is this normal? Plus half the time i had to keep it floored to stay at the same speed. Is there something wrong?

i have a 4.0, but the same trans. well the 4.0 A4LD version. i have 4.56's and 33's with a 6 inch suspension lift. i had no problem sitting at 75 mph with room to go faster, was sitting at like 3k rpm's at 70ish. i think there is something wrong.

I got on the Interstate today with it and i had it at 70 in OD at 3000 i had it up over 85 and still climbing but had to slow down but that is when i had it to the floor. At 70 the pedal was pretty close to the floor guess i need more power lol.
