High Idle Problems

mazda b2300 high idle

After reading and trying different solutions to my idle problems with no luck.
Here is what i finally figured out. my brake booster had rusted out along the backside against the firewall and had a vacuum leak which would send a false reading to the computer, the computer would richen the fuel mixture causing my truck to idle high until i came to a complete stop.
Changed the brake booster and problem solved.

Had a similar issue on my 1999 Mazda B4000. The idle held at 2000 rpm when coming up to a stop light. Tried cleaning the IAC body assembly but it was the same issue after. I have 184000km's and it looked original so I swapped it with a BDS unit and it fixed my high idle problem

whats a BDS units, i got the same 2000rpm idle at stop as u with the exact same truck?
