hi lift

But a welder plug and a dryer plug dont look the same.

Really? I've never plugged in a welder but always figured they'd be the same...

So I guess I can't replace my laundry room with a fab shop. damn.

110v wire feeds work pretty well as long as you get one with infinitely adjustable wire speed. Two options for wire speed does NOT cut it. Two voltage settings is pushing it, but is workable.

I have built everything I have with a 110v wire feed with infinite wire speed and two voltage settings. It works fine, just gotta watch what you're doing a lot closer and there's more cleanup due to the flux.

Whatever you do, don't get a 110v stick welder. Those things are absolutely worthless. I picked one up for real cheap a while back and melted the ground lead after about 20 minutes of use.
