Hey ladies and gentlemen. I have visited the website for a long while now and I finally got registered up. So here I am. Im dave and im a rangerholic. I love and have loved every one I had in my life and this one is no different. I have an 88 extended cab 4x4 2.9 auto boost provided by an eaton m90 compressor from a 3.8 tbird. 3:73-1 gear. 8.8 trac-loc rear and stock front. Pretty basic expect well the obvious and an msd 6al, greddy blow off valve, subaru sti intercooler, 4.0 sohc throttle body and an electric fan in place of the factory clutch fan. Thats as far as I have gotten to at this point. I have plans to have long tube headers and 2 1/4" dual pipes that incorporate an x pipe and probably some decent turbo type mufflers. ( I want to hear the whine of the s/c) also a megasquirt stand alone engine management and boost control computer is going to be unavoidable I think. Anyway I think it will be a very fun ride. Howdy Dave... welcome to TRS

So an intercooled supercharged 2.9L... Ya just don't see that everyday. How does it run? Worth the efforts?

I still have one of those... My plan was to supercharge a type 1 VW air cooled... and someday... I still might.
