i vote nay ...... but my wife works in tire and lube express in walmart and some one at her store took 5 bottles of used oil back as a return once lol a white or clear bottle would have prevented that.

That is absolutely hilarious. Why would anyone take back USED oil? That just doesn't make any sense.

those ladies at the return desk dont know any thing. hell they dont even check their oil most times so the wouldnt know what used oil would look like.

i would think the busted "tamper rings" on the bottles would be a dead giveaway :icon_confused:

guess common sense is more scarce than i thought...

I'd say no...easy to check if the oil is contaminated...I use Quaker State in the green bottles and as long as the tamper seal is intact I don't usually worry about it...but you can shine a light on those bottles to see impurities...never had to do that though...

BTW, watch for specials on oil at Wal-Mart...LOL!

Vote with your wallet!

You can't regulate common sense!!!

If you suspect the oil MAY have dirt in it DON'T USE IT!!!! Greg

"Round here we put our used oil in a gallon milk jug and put it out next to the garbage can to be recycled.

Why would anyone go through the trauma of putting used oil back into quart containers? And even if they did go through all that hassle a sharpie can dam near write "USED" by itself.
