hello everybody im new here. My name is Andrew im from central ky.
my hobbies are offroading, demoderbies, mudruns, and working on cars,
i just bought a 1989 ranger 4x4 5 speed single cab long bed, 31-12.5-r15
ltb's on it it straight piped with a cherry bomb new clutch, 92k on truck everything works great. payed 700 Bucks for it and i love it i have had it for2 weeks and taken it off road 3 times already

Welcome to TRS Andrew...my first Ranger was built in Ky so I almost feel like I know some people down there...

welcome,my 83 was built in ky and if it ever wears out i'll be looking for another ky built ranger.maybe one a little newer,like a 84.

Not sure what part of Ky mine was from, but a search on the serial number said it was built in the Ky plant...is there no Ford manufacturing plant down there now?

It was an 88 also so they could have closed down the plant...wouldn't be surprised, actually...plenty of changes can take place in even just a few years...didn't check my current 88 Ranger for where it was made though...probably also in Ky...
