are any of the plugs unusually clean? if you have a cracked head or blown head gasket the water will "steam clean" the combustion chamber.

did you make sure there are no holes in your overflow tank or the line going to it? mine had a hole in it and it would lose a lot of water. i took it off one day and found a hole in the bottom. at work we had a forklift that the line going to the overflow had cracked and it would lose all its water every day. one day we let it sit and run till it got hot and found where the water was going otherwise we didn't know where it was going. check the line and overflow just maybe its them
