help: wont stay running.

well i changed the fuel filter and disconnected the pos. battery cable for awhile and that didnt help.

My '95 B4000 is doing the same thing. I'm betting on the fuel pump. I'm on my way to work now to lift the bed and change the pump. I hate shotgunning parts, but I don't have acess to a scanner or FP guage.

My guess is that You have either a fuel pressure problem or a Security System problem. If your other key is a "chip" "PATS" key and is not making the engine run than it is a security system malfunction wich can cause the fuel pump to stop. But what makes it hard to diagnose is the lack of a fuel pressure gauge to measure the fuel presure. Get a test light and check the fuel pump relay. If it turns off while the engine is running the problem is electrical/security. If it stays on is the fuel pump. Good luck.
