I'm in the process of putting a new engine in my B2. Not doing anything cool, just putting in a completely rebuilt 2.9L. I ordered a short block from Jasper Engines. Reusing some of my old parts, and replacing what needs to be replaced.

Most of the stuff I'm finding that I need has been no problem. But now I'm stuck. There is a sensor in the oil pan, but I'm not sure what it's called. The pigtail that attaches to that sensor is destroyed. What is that sensor called, and where could I find that pigtail?

Not sure what the sensor is but have you tried lmctruck.com? They usually have all the odd parts you can't find anywhere else.

The oil level sensor. Those are getting hard to find last I checked.

I've found a couple decent level sensors on Ebay. They seem to run in the $60-$80 dollar range. Might be worth checking out. My level sensor is fine except for the seal leaks. I would like to do it the right way and get a new seal but can't find one anywhere - may just have to go with RTV on the old one.
