im trying to order from james duff there long travel suspesion parts. and they are hessatent on selling me the coil spings to the ranger without buying the whole kit. ( note: they have no problem selling me the rear leaves to a ranger:icon_confused:) they suggested i buy the HD early bronco coil buckets with the early bronco coils. well that is all fine but on the driver side of the frame where the coil bucket mounts there is a bulge in the frame for the steering box and part of the bulge runs back into where the coil bucket mounts. plainly by looking i can tell the passenger side coil bucket is flat where it mounts but the drive side has a special jog in it. meaning the coil buckets off a early bronco wont work. does anyone know a coil bucket that specifically fits a 88 ranger and holds a fullsize or early bronco coil???

Perry Mcneil,perrysfabnfiber.com I do belive still dose coil buckets and use fullsize coils on the rangers/explorers

autofab.com may or may not have a coil bucket for a fullsize spring on a ranger.but they do have some heavy duty coil buckets, and springs for the ranger. but not cheap at all.

IF im not mistaken, I belive duff springs are made buy deaver springs.

if you know all the specs you want in a spring, you could always call up deaver. they will work with you in making a spring for you.

same with national spring
