Help with a leak ?

I have a 2002 ranger 4x4 xlt 4.0, I was under my truck cranking the t-bars and noticed a little leak around the front differential where the axle goes in. Do i need to worry and how hard is it to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

that is a front pinion seal. they are not hard to replace, but you need to make sure you tighten the pinion nut back down to the same spot that it is when you take it off (count the turns) or else you will mess up your pinion preload.
