help tune up my 3.0 please

I'm looking at installing the add a leaf and new coil Springs to level it out. I think for now I'll just drive it like it is as far as the engine goes. Could it possibly be something with the injectors? I haven't replaced the fuel filter yet but I will when I get some time off work.

I now have a pretty good coolant leak by the radiator cap area. Can't seem to locate where yet bc it's sprayed all over and running down the front dif. I'm going to change the cap and see if that solves it.

RonD, I am new to 3.0 Fords but I am an ASE engine mech. who spent 40 years building street rods. My 94 refuses to start sometimes but fires right up other times. It also seems to try to fire but "kicks" like out of time sometimes when starting. With 230k I suspect the distributor & it not staying in time. Mine has the old type distributor not the coil pack. Any suggestions? Hey, you want your old 302, 390, 200 six or any old engine built...I'm the guy. At 71 this newer electronics can give me fits but my degree is in electronics but TV/radio stuff. Thanks ahead of time.

Charlie, I think you would get a lot more views and responses if you would start a new thread discussing your problem. A lot of folks read a thread and dismiss it forever more because they have nothing to add or no interest in the topic.
