I guess I missed their agenda... just about everyone else I know did too in fact.

I enjoyed Seseme Street, Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood and a slug of animal-based cartoons as a kid (Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and Talespin were my two favorites) and I still enjoy a big ol' charcoal grilled steak more than any other dish. And I have never had one better at a resturant than I can grill.

And I got a full tour of an animals emotions a month ago when one of our two horses died. They have them, and unless you were there to watch you probably wouldn't beleive me anyway.

Ok, I don't always agree with some of the politics. Don't always disagree either. It's not about politics. Who here didn't watch Sesame Street when we were kids? How 'bout Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood? I'm pretty sure we ever have a few guys here (even if they wouldn't admit it) who watched Barney.


The Fed is about to drop the axe on Public Broadcasting, help save them.

My tax dollars go to a 'public' broadcatsing concern whose only 'public' that they're concerned with serving is the leftist, America hating segment of our society.

I quit contributing to them 20 years ago because I didn't like their left-bias then. I sure as hell don't want my tax money going to them if I have a say about it.

Screw PBS/CPB/NPR.

Problem is...if they are coerced to keep funding this they will find the money they are looking for somewhere else...usually by raising property, alcohol, tobacco, gas, or fat taxes...yes, fat tax is on the weigh...

As much as I like(d) to watch Sesame Street and all the other great shows that have come via this media, it's the way of the future...and it's (probably) lobbied by the cable companies...so you're fighting against one that is giving generously to the government against one that is costing them (read YOU)...

Not saying to give up, but if you follow the money...
