Help Identifying Component on 1995 Ranger Speedometer/Odometer Circuit

My 1995 Ranger XL (regular cab) has a speedometer/odometer that stopped working. When I opened the cluster, I found the worm gear was broken (I’ve already fixed that), and a few other damaged components. I managed to identify almost all of them, but there is one component that looks like a varistor that I couldn’t identify.
Could someone help me identify it?

Here is the photo of the speedometer board without the odometer module attached. The round black component (likely a MOV/varistor) was installed between BAT and GND, but it blew up. I’m trying to identify the correct replacement part.
