Find an old style timing light and make sure all cylinders are firing.

Any check engine codes?

Can you check #1 cylinder valves for full closed at TDC?

If you didn't have the cam tool it could still be off. I wouls start with basics as mentioned above, also double check plugs and wires.

You didnt find TDC on the exhaust stroke did you?

I know with a distributor you can do that and then it wont run (most say 180 deg out) but i dont know if its possible on a DIS system. It might be but the computer might be able to compensate enough to make it run?

later,
Dustin

nope had tdc on compression every time i realigned it also replaced all plugs and wires still misses horribly
