Help finding a part?

Hi,

I'm looking for a fuel sending unit for my 84 Ranger.

I've called Ford and they discontinued it and I've looked online; I just can't find it anywhere.

This isn't exactly a part that I wanna get from a junkyard either.


Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can get my hands on a good one. I could go universal, but that may just be a big hassle.

Good luck on finding a new original one. I think they stopped making them ten years or more ago.

Hi,

I'm looking for a fuel sending unit for my 84 Ranger.

Found this in a quick search for "84 Ford Ranger fuel sending unit", scroll down app. 3/4 of the way down. It's kinda pricey & says it's for 85 to 88, I am not aware of any significant differences in the 84 but I'm not 100% positive.

I got mine at AutoZone. I worked fine.

Well LMC Truck only has an 85 model for the 2.3L. It is 119.95. I am thinking that it might work for your application.

I would send a shout to there technical support to see if it is compatible.
