thats what i was think about the 35 as far a strength and with th 44 knuckles i figured it would be stronger (i was under the impresion a 35/44 hybrid gave you the best of both worlds ) and a 44 shouldnt be that much stronger in stock form granted there is more aftermarket parts for them to make them stronger but dont plan on doin a lot of extremely hard wheeling
as for the steering i was think of fliping the steering to the top of the arm and using the super lift kit but dk yet.
that why i was running everything by yall 1st
do ya'll think the duff kit has mor BANG for the buck
If you're using D44 knuckles, then yes, flipping the tierods to the top will add a small improvement to your steering geometry (it'll also get the tierods themselves up a tad higher too). You'll still want to make sure the tierods are "in phase" with your suspension though (if you get the Superlift steering kit, do plan on dropping the centerlink down on it for it to be correct).
Probably the biggest benefit you get from the 44 knuckles is the bigger brakes. Because the axle u-joint is normally the weak link in the chain, I don't put a tremendous amount of weight on whether it's stronger though (however you do get a wider wheelbearing placement, which could prove beneficial if you want to run wide offset rims).
As far as suspensions go, it's a pretty close draw between James Duff and Skyjacker. I would tend to lean a bit toward the Skyjacker kit for a DD simply because it uses long-life urethane bushings rather than a metal heim, although I've heard some reports of the heim lasting pretty good too.
(this is unless JD breaks some new ground here on something that'll flex good, then no question, I'd be looking at that for sure).
