Hi all-
Came across this site in looking for more info on building up my Ranger a little. I've done the famous torsion twist (only got 1.25" though, so longer bolts are on order to bring it up to 2" above stock), with rear end as naturally high as it is I'm just going to leave it there for now. That's all just until I decide to lift it properly and start changing suspension around. New tires (pro-comp M/T's) are going on as soon as the tax return comes in.
Just getting into off-roading now (finally old enough to afford the toys I really want) so I'm sure I'll be digging through the archives and asking plenty of questions to benefit from everyone here's experience.
Just picked up my "beginners recovery kit" (4-ton come along, two 3500lb tow straps, tree saver, snatch block, high-lift jack and tow hooks for the rear of my truck-also a 60 metre climbing rope that I don't climb on anymore) so I can't wait to go play in the dirt. Now I just need a second vehicle to roll with me...
