If it doesn't fit, force it!
Hello everyone! I actually joined about a month or so ago and am just now gettin around to doing this. I'm from the eastern part of Kansas. I bought my 95 ranger from a friends brother earlier this summer, saving it from the scrap heap. It has a bad tranny and he robbed the fuel pump off it for his other truck, but it ran before he did that. So I got truck for $100.

The plans:
I have a np435 and Dana 20, and plan on making a bellhousing to mate it to the 4.0L. That will all feed into Dana 60s (as soon as I find them). It will have a full cage, and will dovetail and bob the bed. Suspension-wise, I am still undecided, leaning toward air-shocks at the moment, and plan to roll on some 37's unless I change my mind on that too. Since I have gathered all the parts and truck from the graveyard so far, it's been dubbed "Project Fordenstein."

Hello from Kansas

Welcome to TRS, nice buy man I am glad to hear you saved it from getting scraped, oh and good luck with the build.

I've been to Kansas Rocks a few time near Ft. Scott, that is pretty good, the only other park I know of is Tuttle Creek, But I've never been there.

Ya, I was actually just at k-rock this past weekend, and I'll prolly go again on Oct 17th. If you ever want to head down there, let me know...

Sounds like that will be a sweet looking truck when you get done:headbang:
