Hello Everyone, I've had a hard time deciding on what small truck to buy until I started reading the posts on this website...so I thank everyone here!!

I'm picking up my new Ranger Sport in about 3 hrs so I pumped. As the owner of 4 Mustang GT's I've heard many of the Mustang mods will apply to the Ranger. ie SCT Tune, Electric Fan, CAI (maybe), gear change, underdrive pulleys. My Stang is going into storage so I can have fun with this Ranger.

There is a wealth of information on this website and the overall conduct is very good so I thought I'd join. I will contribute with any information by posting my results here too. I'll do a few mods and put the Ranger on a dyno to show the results. I'm a Ford guy at heart so the decision was whether their good trucks or not...after seeing how many trouble free miles you guys put on these trucks it became a no brainer.

Ford was giving these trucks away and I got my Ranger Sport (loaded) for around $10,000 off the MSRP. I couldn't buy a Focus at the price I got this Ranger for, after driving it I was surprised how fast the little truck is.

welcome aboard! I suggest www.Bamachips.com They use SCT, and write custom tunes for rangers, they really know their stuff!

That sounds like a good price you got it for...let us know what the dyno tells you...not sure about the mods that you can do to a 4.0, but I'm interested...
