Hello everyone, I started posting about two days ago and didnt introduce myself, so here goes.
I live in Moorefield, WV which is in the middle of nowhere in WV's Eastern Panhandle. It is about an hour south of Cumberland, Maryland and an hour and a half weat of Winchester, VA. I am employed on the railroad here.
I bought my truck used in December of '07 to replace an old, beat up saturn car I was driving. This truck is my first truck and I intend to take care of it and make it the only truck I'll ever own! (ok that might be a bit of a stretch).
It is a pretty standard truck, being an '04 Ranger XLT with the 6' flareside bed (fiberglass), truck is Sonic Blue Pearl metallic (SN), and a 2.3l 4cyl under the hood. she has 53k miles on it so far, still on orginal contientals she left Dearborn with (those tires suck!). I dont have any pictures at the moment, might have some here in the next few days.
It is my daily driver, no plans to really do any major mods on it aside from cosmetic stuff like maybe new wheels in the future (those 7-spoke steel wheels just dont cut it for me).
I drove to Athens, OH to pay 7,900 for it at a honda dealership used, the best price I could find.
Pretty much base model for an XLT, but god I love this truck. Already pulled a trailer with a pair of garden tractors on it, I was really happy with the performace of it considering it was a 4-banger.
Anyhow, im glad I found this forum. I'll be looking forward to getting involved with it more and more.
