hella converison headlights?

I always heard 9004's wern't very good bulbs. Second gen rangers had the 9004's and people convert to 9007 bulbs.

people say they blow out quickly or what? wonder how they convert to 9007's. sounds like it would be possible with these conversion headlights.

my oem stock 6054's are horrible. so i'd imagine the 9004's would at least be a step up. and a halogen 9004 better. and maybe 9007's better yet.

Well the bulbs were just bad, something like not putting out alot of light because of poor design? and burning out quicker...

H4's are good bulbs, and the sealed beams aren't too bad its just cause refection pattern isn't the best...

ok so what would you do if you were me? hella conversion lights? or napa conversion lights with 9004's or whatever. or just stick with sealed beams?

as soon as its gets dark in the afternoon I am going to get E code Hella's. in WA state I have no inspections. from what I have read it seems the best way to go

Well why do you want to get the lights?

Do they not light up the road good? (Low beams or High Beams?)

Because if your only really wanting better high beam or better off road lighting then I would leave the sealed beams and get some good off road driving lights.

But if you want all around better performance (and depending on if you have inspections not that it would matter cause you could always swap them out right before.) IF you don't have inspections then I would get the E code Hellas, If you do then Get the Napa brand DOT approved ones. Really its up to you I'm just trying to share some knowledge but I don't know how the actual lights perform. The 9004's may be the best ever I don;t know for sure. :icon_thumby:

there is no inspections over here. i'm moving to a new house in a few weeks where elk seem to wander the road quite often. my b2 wouldn't fair well against one of those bad boys.

i had four kc lights, but i'm building a new bumper so i won't be looking at new driving lights for awhile.

and my sealed beams suck.... plain and simple. i'd like better light for all around and it will help with off roading as well. i need to rewire somethings to get high and low beams. right now i'm running just lows.

i also was thinking about the E code hella's because they are a glass housing (i assume they are since all the rest of hella's lights are) and doing a HID kit in them..
