Hi All...

Suspecting (correctly) that my headlight switch was on it's last legs, I found a pristine replacement at Pick N Pull. After pulling the old switch from my '90 Ranger, I found the connector was partially melted and some of the leads were down to their last few strands.

Off to Autozone for a new pigtail. Got that, now what is the best to splice in the new one?

I really would like to solder it in, but running an extension cord is a major hassle. Are there any crimp connectors that might do the job or should I just bite the bullet and run 125 feet of cord through the parking garage?

Thanks for any guidance!!!

Amanda

Just use some heat shrink. Twist the wires together really good, and make an air tight seal with heat shrink and a lighter. I personally think it looks the best too.
