There is a bunch of manufacturing going on in northern Indiana. At one time they also had upfitters doing custom stuff for the car companies.

I'd guess it came from that area...

That's a new one on me.


Ford did offer "regional packages" in the 1980s; I have images of the lit for the "Western Ranger" package (west coast states) and have heard of a "Mountain Ranger" (Rocky Mtns. states) package.

And sometimes individual dealerships would put together custom "packages" to sell trucks; either in-house or contacted through an aftermarket upfitter shop.


Odd, that it's a cast emblem, and it's also odd that top pinstripes look painted on, and not tape.
