Has it been extra dead in here lately?

I asked for advice on my major project a few months ago, and put it off until hopefully this weekend. I might put it off another weekend. :D

And, adsm was one of my main advice givers.

Wait, what did I do?

I didn't break it.

Can't speak for everyone but work is the reason i've not been doing much on here or with the ranger. In this economy you have two choices, do whatever is required to keep a paycheck coming or mooch off of those who do. Since i'm allergic to mooching i put in 70 hours a week to make sure i don't get rif'd. The guys that just put in enough hours to pay the bills are the first to get layed off. If i work from sun up to sun down, i can keep my paychecks in 4 digits all winter long.

lol yea i work and go to school 2 part time jobs cuz no one is hiring full time right now, and a third side job, and a full time student lol.

You answered some questions I had on my Escape's front bearing I need to replace still.

Oh gosh, you still haven't done that?

That came up long ago enough that I've completely forgotten about it.

Have fun with that.

i dont think it's been dead, well maybe a little........everyone is just posting in the political threads lol.

but it isnt that dead. i'm on another forum for remington 700's and there's probably 20 new posts a day. so it's all relative.

Yea I guess I see your guys' points.

That last part is why I haven't done it yet, LOL.

Yeah, I flipped shit when I found out Ford was still using press-in bearings on new model stuff in 2006.

So it's just me good to know lol

I'm not exactly excited to pull the whole thing out for a bearing. I was reading some complaints on it, and a lot of people are experiencing drivers side failure only, which is my situation. There was also a theory I read that Fords torque value is not high enough on the shaft. I'll just put it back at factory (215 ft lbs IIRC).

And this is for the wheel bearings?

Around here in Utah, the "Oh shit, it's going to snow and I have _____ many projects to finish" just hit. I have a whole list of things I've been putting of.

I am truly a professionalcrastinator.

That is how it is here too, and harvest is just cranking up. :icon_thumby:
