I'm still deciding on which radiator to use, and one from an old 302 equipped Maverick looks like it may be a nice fit. It's small enough, and has a flange with mounting holes in it so it's easy to mount to my core support. It also has another small flange on the engine side to attach a fan shroud and electric fan. I don't want to mount the fan though the core of the radiator.
The only thing I may have to cut is just a little of the top of the core support for the radiator cap.
Proliance part number 433353 can be bought locally for about $230, or from Rock Auto for about $160. Here is an aluminum one from ebay that is for a Maverick. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories I'm open to other options and suggestions that will allow me to NOT mount the fan through the radiator core.
