I have heard about that, never done it to a car tho. Most of the time i hear people using dry ice instead of the upside down canned air, same idea as they are both colder that hell.
A Friend told me about it and I didnt belive him so I found this video and I was just wondering if anyone has done it? Ill pry try it this weekend. haha. Not sure if it works on plastic? Hmm...
i had a buddy do it with dry ice, i was surprised that it worked. doubt it works on plastic, this only works because of the extreme change intemp between the heated metal and the ice/upside down can of air
Thanks for posting. Although my dent is smaller on my Escape, I think it's worth a try. Would a heat gun get it too hot daniel3507? It looks like this guy just used a hair dryer.
Heat gun would be fine as long as you control your heat and dont go crazy. Ive done it on cars that have been sitting out in the sun for an hour or so in the summer time and it works so it shouldnt take too long with a heat gun. just be careful
