Has anybody had success with converting N/A 2.3 to low boost 2.3T?

Question's in title. I see mention in both the articles on 2.3NA -> 2.3T swaps, specifically this one. I haven't been able to find any posts on this forum or others if it has been done and if so was it reliable? One of the main bottlenecks i see is they are still using the stock MAF sensor, i feel it would not be able to handle the high air flow, along with that i've HEARD the biggest fuel injector the stock ECU can handle is a 19 lb/hr injector, this guy recommends 36 lb/hr.

EDIT: im asking if the N/A pistons with non forged internals can be used, along with the stock ecu.

Idk about the ecu end of things but as far as boosting on stock internals I think I read somewhere that you can but you can't boost anything past like 5 psi. I also looked quite a bit into it a year or two ago but decided 5psi wasn't worth the effort when I can do much simpler things like shave the head and run a bigger cam and what not.

I have had success. The Pistons are the bottle-neck. You can boost 4-8psi on the stock pistons. 5psi is around 35%more power. You can use any high impidedance injector. The stock MAF is kind of a problem. My project cost me around $1400. The tuning software and tuner are the large expenditure. It can be done for less hindsight being 20/20 and all.
