so im about to purchase a 5.5 kit from one of these two companies so what i need is some input on both kits so i can make an educated decision and get the best kit. anyone have any input?:icon_bounceblue:

i have rode in a camburg 5.5 truck and it did surprisingly well, rode like a cadi on the smaller stuff. but never been in a truck with a h&m kit

I have the truck with the 5.5 kit from camburg that RR97 talking about and i like the kit for a dd and on some of the smaller stuff I haven't really heard much about the h&m kit but its most likely going to handle pretty much the same. They both have a fabbed upper arm and fabbed spindle to eliminate the upper balljoint. Strength wise they are both going to be really close as far as handling, that's determined by the coil/shock valving combo that you have on it. just my .02

what makes it a better kit exactly? ive never seen an h&m kit up close in person and from what I've heard, they have some camber issues. all the camburg kits I've seen look nice, I've seen one in action and i have to say it rode nicely. Im gunna be running some 2.0 kings with external res. front and back. if anyone has an h&m kit on their truck will you post me some pics please!! lol

Im not really sure how you can get "better" quality wise on a 5.5 kit than the camburg. I can understand if it is of the same quality, but better, thats pushin it. The camburg 5.5's that I have seen and the one that I own are great quality and work great too.

the only diff between the 2 is h&m come with a boxed upper arm and heims instead of bushings, but i already decided to go with camburg. thanks for your input
