I play a fender acoustic and a el dages I use cowpie.com and cordie.com for cords and lyrics. I love too play and sing. Hopem enjoy your new toy.

I had bought a starter Epiphone with a practice amp and everything but never had time to learn it too much so I let my brother in law borrow it "until he got his own" after he got out of prison. Now the butthole is back in prison again and I've got no way of getting my guitar back. Now that I have time to learn (thanks to no job) I'm considering heading out to Woodwind & Brasswind and pick up an Ibanez GRX20 electric.

I must say, for the buck, Ibanez is the best buy....the starter packs arn't my favorite..... Its wierd, you have to start out on a cheap guitar, but its the more expensive guitars that are easiest to play....

Recommend, pick yourself up a tuner if you dont have one already, nothing sounds better then a perfectly tuned guitar....
Also, probably easiest through learning songs on online tabs like ultimate-guitar.com, to start

Hope you can find time to get back into playing, its better then talking to a psychiatrist on those particular days! lol

i got 4 guitars. jackson king v, ibanez rg some weird code it has emg's,fender strat, and an ibanez acoustic. good beginer songs are iron man, smoke on the water, and brain stew or the intro riff to enter sandman. once you get the coordination where you can play the crazy train riff your getting pretty good.

heres my whole family.....in front of Marshal MGHDFX100

Wow, I didn't see this thread until now. Very nice axes guys! I don't play worth a crap, but I have a Hamer Electric guitar (Daytona style IIRC) and a Hamer Bass. They've been in the closet for years though.

I used to work at DOD, if anyone remembers them, as a solder jockey. I was really getting into it and got laid off......sort of lost interest. I oughta pick 'em back up.
