Hello everyone,

Okay I got the gauges for my 93 Ranger 2.3L 5sp. My ranger didn't have a Tach so I wanted to put a factory one in. Someone on here told me that an explorer with coil packs will have the Gauge cluster that will work so I pulled it out of an 91 Explorer with a 4.0 auto. I came home and installed it and none of the gauges work yet all of the lights work, any ideas? Oops i havent checked the speedo yet.

New update,

Plugged the speedo cable in and I test drove it and the speedo works but everything else doesn't.

Here are the things that are wrong on my instrument panel

1. signals or hazard signals do not show up
2. Hi-beam light stays on at all times when the headlights are on
3. CHECK ENGINE light is on constantly (it wasnt on before)
4. Low Power (battery) light stays on
5. when headlights are turned on, guage lights turn off.

what do you guys think, plugged in backwards?

thanks i will look into this. Since the Cluster is from a 91 do you think I should get a cluster from a 94 Explorer that should match it better?
