Gt-12

well, while there's been precious little done with this thing,i've been chipping away at it when circumstances allow.
you'd think with all the work i've been doing making every one elses projects a reality i would have a bit more money in my pockets....but it just doesn't seem to work out that way.

my main focus is still the house(as in buying the dump)and the previously mentioned outboards have been selling so i've got a reasonable down payment put away.i'm supposed to be getting a call from the lawyers tomorrow to find out if they've got their stuff done yet,as i'd like to get my life rolling again without the threat of impending homelessness hanging over me.

then i'm building a big,proper shop.with a concrete floor.

i'm surprised you guys are still hanging on....i'll try to make it worth your while soon.

I'd be surprised if anyone isn't still hanging on. This build is too cool to die.

Gwaii, I have been wondering about the house situation....of course we all hope it works out the way you want:icon_thumby:

hopefully you can build a big shop with a concrete floor.....but, with radient heat running off the cold fusion reactor you have been secretly perfecting:icon_thumby::D:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

of course a ton of us hope every day we will see an update....not only on the GT, but any project you put your fingers to....

again, hope all works out for ya....and by all means keep us updated...if not on your projects, at least on you:icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

bam, rep for the prophet!

hey Tom, you would like this, i'm in vancouver this week, took a ride up to squamish with my buddy, on our bikes, sitting at the starbucks in squamish, a spitfire rolls by, so i get all excited, tell the people i'm sitting with to check it out, they go "yeah? so?" and i proceed to tell them that the gt6 is the hard top friend of the spitfire, blah blach blah, they then go "yeah? so?" and i remember the point of the story, and say "oh, well i kinda know a guy putting a jaguar v12 into one" they changed their tone a little at that point...

that was always a good ride, though i haven't been on the highway since its big re-do.the loop from squamish past whistler and mount currie to lytton and back through the frazer canyon is a good way to kill a day on a bike.

you give them a link?

i've heard! yeah the road now is mostly 2 lanes each way, with a few spots that are down to 1... i would love to do the full loop, but i am only here for a short period of time... and the weather is diminishing for sure... next summer i will, no questions about it the new road is interesting, as i was riding down it, i could see that the road was green, a definitive green color to the gray pavement... then all of a sudden, BAM it was red... tennis court green (though faded) and red brick red, (though faded) couldn't figure it out, till someone mentioned to me "maybe it's just the rock they had on hand" then i remembered that they had a full quarry on site for that road, doing all of the crushing and grinding of the rock, rather than shipping it in...

didn't get a chance to give the people i was talking to the link, they didn't seem THAT interested in it... the guy with the spitfire i never actually talked to...

another variation on the loop is to(if you have a 4x4 or dp bike)turn south at mount currie, head down lilloette lake, cross the river and carry on down the west harrison fsr.i've done this loop many times, and practically lived on the west harrison.

it's a bit rough in spots, but theres a lot of cool stuff to see.make a couple day trip of it.you'll come out at the sasquatch inn(really)and it's a couple more hours back to vancouver.

as for the house,i talked to the lawyers yesterday...probate won't be settled out till at least january or february.the limbo goes on.

Glad to see you back in action, man. I've still got that bottle for you.

i've been thinking about that bottle.

i'll drink it yet:icon_cheers:

Hey Tom, just thought I'd let you know, ever since the trip I have acquired a taste for "greyhounds". Every once and a while if I'm feeling classy I'll mix one up with Fresca for a "sparkling greyhound" :D
