Hello all first time Ranger Owner, just perusing the site. Of all the vehicles (Many), but specifically Mini trucks I've owned or driven my favorite has always been 4cyl five speed. Luckily for me I got a steal of a deal on my Ranger and it is right up there With the Chevy Iron Duke 4 cyl in S10's , the Nissan pickups, Mazda B2300's, Toyota Hilux etc. More Solid and Heavier feel (probably Built) than other Small trucks! Much more so than the Nissans. Will probably keep this truck and hand it down to a Grandkid when I can't drive anymore. I'm approaching 70 and but My first car(s) at around 9 or 10 y/o. This is a great forum and site for a great little truck!

Welcome to TRS. Would love to see pictures haha. Hope you enjoy the site. Great group all around.

Welcome to TRS. We love pictures of the trucks.

I spent almost 6 months in Bremerton, way back in 1988. I loved the area.

Thanks for the messages Here's few pics The Jobsite tool box in the back is gone, the tires have been replaced with The largest truck tire that would fit on the stock wheels (Discount Tire, Kudo's) my favorite part is I got the truck for 450 bucks! The engine wouldn't hold water, because the plastic Tee under the intake runner and I replaced it with the metal tee and replaceable hose from Rock auto. The 16 Valve 2.3 is a tough little motor, I put in a new clutch and pressure plate and stil including Tires I'm in it less than 2K! Yeah, almost forgot I blacked out the front grill and installed LED bulbs in the Headlights. And for creature comfort I swapped the AM/FM Radio for 7" Touch Screen with BU Camera, and upgraded the speakers. Awesome little truck!

I have a 14 y/o Grandson in Bremerton, we go there often. He performed with the Kitsap Philharmonics Sunday. It is a beautiful area, lots of Military between Joint Base Lewis/McChord and Bremerton naval Base we see the Military personnel everywhere. Today is Veterans day, I hope everyone will Thank and Honor all our Veterans and those serving our Country!
