GPS accuracy...

Mine says within 13' usually...but it's actually a good thing to have...I've found Tim Horton's, beer store, and gas stations with it...the only thing I'm concerned about now is how much more it will cost me...

Was going to call my provider to see if it's included or if it's considered extra data...

I knew the speedo on my truck was 3 mph slower than the GPS. The GPS is right the mechanical speedo is off. I took the truck up past 80 which shouldn't have happened because of the speed limiter. What does it mean. If I had an electronic speedo it would be correct the mechanical is off. I should hook up the computer to the OBDII and see what it says.

did you know if you drive around ina a tight circle at 30mph....the gps shows you're only doing 5mph

It should read 0mph. Most gps units don't actually report "instant" velocity, rather they compare live data to historic data to produce smooth fluid feedback. This is why a gps seems crazy and all over the place for the first minute of operation, it has no historic data to compare the live data to. The longer the unit is powered on and communicating with satalites, the more accurate the speed and location data will be.

I don't know about your Canadian provider but I use the hell out of the navi on my phone (around 12,xxx miles a month) and barely use 2.5 gig of data with all my other usage......
