Hybrid?
As in a Green Ranger or as in Hybrid?
How is that more eco-friendly?
Aside from the fact that my V-6 AWD Escape is only getting about 5 MPG less than a Hybrid and doesn't have that nasty-to-produce battery in it.
The feeling is mutual !! I used to drive a 82' Toyota Tercel. It was dependable & economical-It's great to have a little car that is almost free to drive.
Then what hybrid? My brother averages 48 in his Prius and does mostly interstate commute. I average 40 in my Tdi VW but almost never go on the highway. I get mid 50s on the highway. I can fill the tank and go to Dayton and back and the needle is still on full. Your V6 Escape is not in this league. There might be an Escape hybrid which isn't a full hybrid and your Escape comes close to that. But your Escape doesn't come within 5mpg of a full hybrid like the Prius.
You want to hack on efficient vehicles. I have lots of inefficient ones. I have to have them and use them and hate them. I love my VW because I only put gas in it every 6 weeks or so. It's great to have a little car that is almost free to drive.
So you painted your truck, tuned it up and got a stepside bed? Green like Steve Mcqueen! Looks real good man!!!
