finally got my new tires. general grabber AT2s. 31s with new black steelie rims. total was 920 mounted and all that garbage. had the stock 215s on it with the original steel rims that come on the bare bones extra cab ranger.

there she is in all her glory(hole)
got my tires.

Ba da ba ba ba i'm lovin it

Looks good. Keep us posted on how the tires do for you, they look to be pretty good tires but not a lot of people have experience with them yet.

Looks good, needs a bath though.

lo yeah i live in vermont and were a "salt" state. we just got around 20in of snow yesteday and its starting to melt on the roads so this time of year its im possible to keep clean.

once the snow is gone im going to start collecting the parts i need for a SAS. doing all the research now.

That's the tire I wanted, but no one could get them. Even tirerack told me 3 months before I would get them.

wow i walked into the local tire warehouse and they had them sitting in the showroom..

Why Generals? Not exactly the best tires I've ever run across. They ain't Dunlops, but they aren't BFG either.

i drive 160 miles a day on the interstate but on the weekend its in the woods on class 3 and 4 roads heading out to my favorite fishing and hunting spots. i wanted something that would do ok on the interstate and something in the dirt. vermont terrain isnt that rugged. i basically liked the tread pattern and the place i went didnt have the goodyears so i got the generals.

When I was looking for tires those had really good ratings. Near the top and quite a bit better than BFG A/Ts.

Good tires, they grip well on snow and wet pavement.

Another marketing jingle has cemented itself in American culture. It really IS everywhere, isn't it?

Oh, BTW, apparently y'all up north don't get Hot & Spicy Chicken sandwiches. I was up in Washington a few year back, and then in Massachusetts last summer, and both times they looked at me like I was crazy! (I guess I should also look at the menu in a foreign state before I order.)

Those things are good...

OP, did you go to Discount Tire? It looks like their line of steelie rims, with that stupid purple stripe around the perimeter.

Update us after 100 miles how they perform!
