got a new tailgate

and I'm having problems with it already the lower left hand bolt's washer nut thing is bent and doesn't hold to well.
is there anything I could get as a replacement and is there an easy way of getting said washer nut inside the tailgate so my lock won't rattle?
sorry if this is confusing but I'm lost.
