Goofy Radio...

Just a quick question, but... When I was driving home about 10mins ago, two buttons on my radio quit working. I have an '02 XLT...

I got about 100yrds from my driveway, had it on my station which i have saved under button #6, and it switches stations, says something about memory or something similar, and now my #5 and #6 programmable buttons don't work, nor will they store stations... and those two presets are not there anymore... everything else on the radio works fine, just not those two buttons.

Suggestions?

No, I want to figure out what is wrong... I have a 6-disc changer if that helps...

Sounds like an expensive option...

I had the same issue and had to replace the radio. There is no cheap fix.

If you gotta replace the radio, I've got a Sony Xplode in my truck. The prievious owner installed it and it works great!

Besides, an aftermarket one might be cheaper than another factory one.

EDIT: Scratch that my radio is sold out and they no longer carry it.

Odd... I got back in and it was back to normal, except #5 had swapped stations with one of my FM2 stations...
