They might have welded the bumper on instead of the rear cage/tire carrier looking thing

X2!!!! I'm building a 78 F250 4x4 and keeping my current 1/2 ton going is a major pain in the ass!!
Everytime I get money for the 78 I spend it and my dang 96 will break down, and I'm left stranded with no $$..
If your going to DD your project, you don't need another one to spend money on.. Trust me.
Oh BTW I'm 17 also.

ya the front bumper is welded to the frame of the truck. and so is the tire carrier (no rear bumper)
