Good electric fan

This is the radiator I got from ebay.
Northern 205138 Aluminum Radiator 82-94 Ford Ranger V8 Engine Conversion Swap

That's the radiator I used in my '88. I installed an aftermarket 14" fan (because I was told that's what it was designed for), but a 16" will easily fit if you use vertical brackets instead of horizontal like I have on mine. In 95+ degree heat with a 185 on/165 off fan switch; it keeps my engine cool, but if I were to do it again I'd grab a 16" fan just to have as much air flow as possible. Here's the 14" fan I purchased from Summit Racing... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pro-67018

Did it have all the stuff to mount it to the radiator or did you have to get an installation kit ?

The fan comes with the side mounting tabs in the photo, plus through the radiator zip ties, & flush style mounting brackets. I made the aluminum brackets from regular 3/4" x 1/8" angle aluminum stock.

Looks good. I may do that. I am going to start pulling stuff out if weather holds next weekend.
