well i went over to the mall today and got stopped by a guy in a suburban in the parking lot. the suburban had some graphics on the windows and said something along the line of being an audio sales truck. well the guy got out and showed me the back of the truck that was filled with home stereo equipment made by genises and all priced like $5,000 and said that his bossed called and told him all the products have been marked wrong. and not to deliver them or they will get screwed. so he was trying to sell me a $5,000 home entertainment system for whatever i could put towards it. and said that i could take it for $250 but being in college at the moment with now job leaves me on the poor side so i could not purchase it. i went to the dorm and told my buddy about the deal and he said those people were there last year and sold him a stereo for $300 and its mint and works great. im sure it was all stolen merchandise but still they were all in brand new boxes. scam right?

stolen off the back of a truck. do you live in pullman or is that where your from?? cuz if your goin to school anywhere near grand rapids i can almost garuntee its stolen. i know many people who live there i grew up right outside muskegon in a little hick town.

I've had the same thing happen to me about six or seven years ago someone trying to sell me these so called "expensive" speakers really cheap. I told him no thanks and told the local police about it and said that I thought they were stolen and never did find out if he was caught, so don't do it.

Likely cheap imported junk worth about 1/4 what they sell it for, regardless of a $5000 price sticker on the box.
