farkin down trees bite too..... i came out of the mud and 20 feet after a tree just poked the side wall on my mt's and BOOM blew the whole sidewall out.....so i tryed jacking it up to swap the spare only to have my jack sink in the soft dirt. dug a hole and layed a flat rock in the hole, jacked it up and swapped the spare on. that was the only carnage.:idiot:

we went wheelin at cheesemen (were the haymen fire happend in 2000) then did La Salle pass with great sucess!:D my dad was very impressed with how well a stock ranger does, i cant wait to get my rangeicon on the trails:pray:

g/f got a ear infection from all the dust so ive been at the ER with her all night, ill post pics tomorrow.

Wheelin at cheesemen huh? Did you run into any fruity-types?;missingteeth; I need to get my beast out on some trails too man. If I keep wheeling through yards and parks I am bound to get a ticket....cant wait to see some pics.

thats a good way to get your ass beat.. i've followed many a truck out some nasty little 'roads', they drive 2mph like they might hurt their precious 4x4 truck if they go through a ditch at 15mph..

14" shorter wheelbase than gen 3 ranger ext cab (my truck), 1" less ground clearance, some good snow tires = i go as far as lots of stock trucks, or further when they chicken out

moral of the story: not all subaru drivers are lesbians.

lots of plastic? just the bumpers.. which i've hit multiple times, and until yesterday, they stayed on! lol.. but actually it wasn't the bumpers fault, the sheet metal tab rusted off, which holds up the front left corner of the bumper :not_i:

anyways it only cost me $300, if i paid the $2800 fair condition book value, i wouldn't be offroading it!
