Goin mudding but need some help!

i am looking for a good suspension lift to buy for the ranger and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on whats good. i have a good bit of money saved for this purpose so let me know! i found a 4" rough country lift for $430. any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

for 2wd I recomend autofab's econo kit. autofab.com, simple and cake to install. unbolt, rebolt simple. and the kits have no prblems with alighment.

for a dropbracket lift kit, if the skyjacker 2wd kits are built like thier 4wd kits, that would be anouther good choice then....

locker, winch....good fast 9000 warn.

lift...hard to say with 31's being the goal...but 456 gears are the minimum for 31's. i would be tempted to just do 150 coils and sploder leafs/rear end and swap in a 4x4 trans and t case for the upcomming d30 swap instead of buying a lift.

and i hope you dont live near mud like we have...or you will need a 4wd and a winch. 2wd will not get it.

Deff go with some gears. stock 2.3 4x4 moasly got 4.10s. Ur 2by proly got like 3.55 or so. So may be able to find junk yard axles. My buddy has a 91 with 33s an it very slow turnning the tires. hes running 4.10s an a stock 2.3. But he also has low since hes got a 4x4.
