Global warming or mini ice-age??

dont know if this has been covered all ready but........
i heard that back in the day a few thousand years back, it got really hot and kept getting hotter for a while and then there was this sudden bit of cold and then it has been continuly warming up and it will eventually get real cold again, but if you look at the scientific scale of the temp increase there has only been a 3 dgree increase of average temp in 200 years!!!!!!!! i dont even know why we are worried about it, Gods gotta plan and thats whats gonna happen aint nothin we can do about it, so STOP FIGHT OVER THIS BS

Yes it is true that there has only been a few degree temperature change. What some don't understand is that only a couple of degrees (average temp.) can be the differance between an ice age and drought.

Most of you guys that believe in Man Made Catastrophic Global Warming also believe in evolution. What happens during global event............ you adapt or go extinct but you can't stop it, if it is going to happen then it will happen, all we can do is delay the inevitable (if you believe in MMCGW) so adapt or die.

I personally believe that MMCGW is a bunch of (how did MAKG put it?) bright flaming horseshit but that doesn't mean I am not doing my part.

I set my thermostat to 68 degrees ....... not because Fat Al told me too but because I save 25% on my Gas bill. I have a house full of CFL bulbs not because Fat Al told me too but because my electricity bill through out the winter has not gotten over $60 (a month). we put about 100 miles a month on our car not so Fat Al can fly around in private jet, but because I don't like paying over $3.00 for a gallon of gas. Fat Al consumes more natural resources than any 100 households put together and I bet he personally releases twice as much methane as any two normal size adults. When Fat Al does his part in conserving natural resources and cutting down his carbon foot print I might consider doing more but right now I am doing my part which is more than most Hollywood frog licking tree hugging bark humping greenie weenie grass nazis are doing.

FWY I am not doing my part because of consensus or to save the planet, I am financially motivated and trying to ease the burden on my wallet.

HUH? Man made products cause Cancer, The Plague by Fleas on rats then biting people because they did nothing about the rodents. No offense but remember that was in the Dark Ages, a time with little medical knowledge and people just didn't make the connection between rats, fleas, and the plague.

AIDS spread first in Africa, originally it was a disease among monkeys. It is suspected that at some point a human was bitten by a monkey and transmitted by sexual contact. The sacrelige is in believing God is a jerk and calling him merciful to kiss his butt. *I* don't believe for an instant God is going to punish me for questioning the mythology that grew up thousands of years ago to explain things like famines and floods, when people didn't understand how mesoscale weather worked.

Besides, if God really is omniscient, what the HELL difference does it make what I say? He knows what's in my head. Or maybe not....

IMO the New Testament supersedes the Old Testament, so in my life that is the God I deal with.
