glasspacks?

Glasspacks break down on the inside (the fiberglass wrapping) quicker than most mufflers...but that just makes it sound better. The outer case of the mufflers themselves are tough as hell. Cherrybombs are heavily powder coated, I assume thrush are too.

I think the cats help them live longer though, they don't get fuel in them.

Like I said before, mine still sounds the same as it did when I had them put on.

When I get to that point the Ranger is getting a pair of Thrushes too. :icon_thumby:

Can someone post a vid of what theres sounds like? Im trying to make a decision on what to buy but I dont want to sound like a ricer

go for the turbo. its what i'm going to get. i just brought back the glass pack.
my brother has the 4.0L and he drilled out the second cat. he has the thrush turbo with a 5 or 6" exhaust tip(just for show). thing sounds great. nice low rumble. and when it starts on a cold morning it idles around 400-500 and sounds like a muscle car

If you leave the cat salone the glasspack will probably sound about the same.

BTW, my glasspacks outlived my pipe. Walked away from Sears last night and noticed one tip was pointed down at a 45 degree angle. I tried to straighten it and it just about broke off, I went ahead and ripped it off. :bawling:
