Glasspacks vs Others

personally, I run the flowmaster 40 series muffler, with 2" duals and 3" tips. I think it sounds great. I also have my catty's gutted too. But on the 2.9, i had an 87 2.9,took to a shop and had them make me a set of TRUE duals. They cut the cattys off and welded new 2 inch pipes onto the downpipes, then they added a set of mufflers(similiar to the thrush glasss packs) and had 2 inch run straight out the back. It was EXTREMELY LOUD. cackaled like no other ranger i've ever heard with mufflers on it.(my 3.0 on the other hand without a muffler and gutted cats with 2 inch straight pipe cackles) But i would suggest the flowmaster muffler. it has a nice mellow deep tone to it, not exccessivly loud but people know you're comin down the road.
